General Description / Primary Purpose
This is work assisting skilled trades employees and/or independently performing semiskilled maintenance tasks.

Essential Duties


Job Function
This is work assisting skilled trade’s employees and/or independently performing semiskilled tasks required to support the custodial department operations. Custodial equipment maintenance and repair Custodial waste and refuse hauling; delivering of building custodial supplies; installation of dispensers Accompanies contracted equipment service vendors performing service on campus owned custodial equipment Assist or performs the relocation of classroom tablet-arm chairs, chairs, tables and other furniture when necessary; locates and moves damaged items to shop for repairs then either returns objects to original location or places object in storage. During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.

5%: Supplementary responsibilities. a) special set-up requests; b) graduations; c) provides manpower during events; d) cleans up after events; e) work orders; f) assists other departments as needed
Required Qualifications
Completion of ninth (9th) grade required; HS Diploma preferred. Some positions may require possession of a classified driver’s license appropriate to a type of vehicle operated.
