ACES Corporate Relations Coordinator
Goal: Support the Senior Director of Corporate Relations to increase solicitations and dollars raised. Assist the Senior Director of Corporate Relations to implement engagement plan for a portfolio of corporate prospects that aligns with their goals and ACES.
Corporate Partnership Support

  • Support relationships with existing college corporate partners specific to agreements
  • Assist with planning and executing corporate focused events.
  • Coordinate and help host campus visits for external partners, connecting them to various college stakeholders.
  • Prepare briefing materials and briefing meetings with college stakeholders to prepare for corporate visits.
  • Help identify and align corporate needs with the expertise of the college in areas such as student engagement and pipeline, instruction, research, philanthropy, professional development, entrepreneurship, and innovation; and identify and develop opportunities with corporate foundations with areas of expertise within the College.
  • Facilitate industry and ACES interactions with initiatives, programs, and other activities that have the potential to enhance engagement.
    Lead Generation
  • Identify new corporate and corporate foundation funding opportunities on a continual basis, including tracking alumni activities in corporations.
  • Participate in department and college events that engage corporate stakeholders.
  • Assist with lead generation through research and collaboration with UIF, Office of Corporate Relations and departmental connections.
    Data & Reporting
  • Enter contact reports in TED and Salesforce; track data based on college and departmental needs, and interface with various offices to help create fund agreements, stewardship plans, and gift fund accounts.
  • Ensure that stewardship and reporting requirements are met to sustain successful partnerships and future investment.
  • Assist with collection of information to produce annual reports and other reports.
    Communications & Outreach
  • Collaborate with MARCOM to produce corporate communications such as news articles, newsletters, social media, website updates and develop other marketing collateral as needed.
  • Produce clear and concise correspondence, including sponsorship materials, proposals, reports, and acknowledgment letters.
    Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
    Reports to Senior Director of Corporate Relations.

    Skills:
    Strong organization and communication skills. Detail orientated. Collaborative and interest in working as a member of the advancement team. Self-starter/motivated. Comfortable with technology.
    Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A total of one (1) year (12 months) in education, training and/or work experience in marketing/sales or corporate/ external relations.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with TED, Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator or other database management tools a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of/comfort using Excel or other information management tools.
    Appointment Details
    Hybrid position (generally 3 days in the office required) and attendance at on-campus events and company visits as planned. Ability to attend events/activities outside of regular business hours on occasion.
    This position is classified as a 100% full-time civil service Program Coordinator. The proposed start date is as soon as possible after the closing date. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. The salary range for this position starts at $45,000. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
    Out-of-state candidates must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date for this position. Illinois residency requires proof of a valid Illinois Driver's License or state of Illinois ID Card. Failure to produce the required documentation within 180 calendar days will result in immediate termination of employment.
