Position Details
General Statement | The Coordinator of Statistical Resources has the responsibility to evaluate requests for statistical consulting and refer those to either the STAT 510 Statistical Consulting course, to a Statistics faculty member for collaboration or to work with a graduate student, to refer to other MSU Core services, or to refer to outside statistical resources, such as those available through MSU’s partnership with the Institute of Translational Health Services. This arrangement will allow for ongoing statistical support where MSU researchers need it. Reporting to the Head of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, the Coordinator will provide a conduit between campus researchers from a variety of disciplines and statistical resources available. The Coordinator will stay current of MSU’s resources, recognizing that they may change frequently as faculty expertise shifts and as grant-funded resources come on- or off-line. |
