Position Highlights The Academic Records Coordinator will contribute as a member of the Student Services team within Registration, Residency, & Transcripts. The Academic Records Coordinator will process general petitions, tuition appeals, and other escalated cases and petitions related to enrollment and withdrawals from the University.

The Office of the Registrar is charged with implementing academic and student policies and their alignment with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor and manage the petition and appeal trellis queue to ensure all incoming cases for both general petitions and tuition appeals are responded to accurately.
Maintain high level of competency of University Policies to ensure all petitions are submitted to the appropriate committee.
Serve as the main point of contact for campus partners and students for all incoming questions related to general petitions and tuition appeals.
Evaluate student records and enrollment requests for exception and adherence to University Policy and other related academic scenarios.
Identify petitions and appeals that are not appropriate for committee and triage to Associate Registrar for review.
Apply academic record updates for all general petition and tuition appeal decisions. Record updates may include retroactive enrollment updates and the application of tuition refunds.
Document academic record updates on the academic record and communicate committee decisions with students.
Assist with academic record updates for other escalated enrollment transactions such as complete withdrawals.
Facilitate and participate in regular petition committee meetings.
Plan and organize petition and appeals committee annual training and ensure proper representation on each committee from campus partners and faculty.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required
