Community Outreach/Strategic Partnerships Manager


Department:
Academic Affairs Administration | Kirwan Institute

Assist the Executive Director and the Kirwan Institute with external audiences and prioritizing strategic initiatives and partnerships to promote the work of the Institute.  Assist the Executive Director as a member of the senior staff to develop and articulate strategies consistent with the vision of the Institute’s research. Cultivate and manage complex, multi-sector (government, philanthropy, academic) research and community engagement collaborations.  Provide recommendations to the Executive Director concerning short- and long-term local, state and federal agency contracts. Develop and implement strategies to promote existing and emerging program areas. Participate in strategic planning and the overall management of the Kirwan Institute by directly supervising 1.5 FTE and other members of the Kirwan team (e.g. a full-time VISTA member) as applicable.

Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, and 6 years of relevant experience

Required: Advanced degree; experience with managing multiple projects; strong organizational skills; strong writing and communication skills

Required: Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders; strong interpersonal skills.


Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this job profile is $99,000-$132,500 The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
