Job Summary/Basic Function

The College of Arts, Education and Sciences at Clarion University is seeking to expand the current temporary faculty pool to teach various undergraduate courses for the 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic years. Applicants in previous pools will have to reapply to be considered. All positions are contingent upon the availability of funding.

Intro to Human Communication, Public Speaking, Business and Professional Speaking, Introduction to Mass Media, Writing for Media, Communication Law, Introduction to Video Production, Photography, Field Production, Audio Production, Studio Production, Media Production Planning, Designing World Wide Web For Media, On-Camera Performance, Sport Digital Audio & Video Production, Intro to Film, Broadcast Principles & Practices, Publication Design, Journalism Foundations, Journalism Principles and Practices, Publications Editing, Investigative Journalism, News Writing, News Reporting, News Writing for Internet Media, Broadcast News Writing.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Communications or a related field of study and completion of a successful interview.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience at college/university level; Ph.D. in Communications is preferred, ABD considered.
