Job Description:

Bryant and Stratton Albany Women's Soccer, a USCAA Division I College, seeks a highly qualified individual for the position of Head Women’s Soccer Coach. We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated professional to lead our women's soccer program with a commitment to excellence and the highest standards of collegiate athletics.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Excellence: Identify and attract academically and athletically talented student-athletes to build a competitive and successful women’s soccer program.
  • Player Development: Provide comprehensive teaching, mentoring, and coaching to foster the well-rounded development of student-athletes, ensuring both academic progress and graduation.
  • Strategic Coaching: Direct practice sessions, conduct evaluations of opponents, and navigate competitive coaching situations to maintain a high level of competitiveness.
  • Program Management: Establish and maintain an environment conducive to the welfare, development, and academic success of student-athletes. Effectively manage the program’s budget and staff.
  • Community Engagement: Coordinate support services, public relations, and promotional activities to enhance the overall success and visibility of the program.
  • Administrative Leadership: Fulfill other administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the women’s soccer program.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five years of successful collegiate/professional/elite club soccer coaching or professional playing experience.
  • Proven track record of working with and enhancing the performance of elite soccer student-athletes.
  • Demonstrated successful leadership experience.
  • Commitment to providing a positive student-athlete experience, with a focus on student-athlete welfare.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Professional Competencies

  • Strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds, dedicated to the full academic and social development of student-athletes.
  • Knowledge of USCAA/Collegiate rules and interpretations.
  • Experience as a Women’s Soccer coach at the NCAA Division I, II, III, or USCAA Division I collegiate level.
  • Ability to motivate and lead student-athletes toward both competitive and academic success.
  • Proven experience in recruiting student-athletes at the collegiate level.

 Candidate must pass a background check and have a clean motor vehicle driving record.

We encourage candidates to demonstrate a commitment to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. The position involves extensive travel, including overnight stays for recruiting and competitions.

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.

This position is a stipen position with an annual salary range from $21,000 - $24,000 annualy.

Assocaites are paid Semi-Monthly on the 15th and last business day of the month.
