Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Department Chair, day-to-day coordination of outreach events, workshop planning, and development of outreach materials for the Civic Urban Farmer Program; grant reporting to the California Department of Food and Agriculture; ensuring project deliverables are met.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Degree in agricultural science, agricultural education, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in agricultural education and extension to diverse audiences is essential.
  • Experience in grant management reporting is essential.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

  • Ability to organize extension events, including live webinars and in-person demonstrations.
  • Ability to create extension resources for urban farmers and assist with grant reports and management of project deliverables.
