Clinical Social Worker, Limited Term (5 months)

In this Clinical Social Worker role in our Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital’s Adult Partial Hospitalization Program, you will be the primary therapist for a caseload of 5-8 patients who are treated for psychiatric illnesses including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought disorders and personality disorders. You will also facilitate a variety of psychotherapy groups each day for all patients enrolled in the program.

CSW 2 salary range: $44.19 – $52.79 Hourly

CSW 3 salary range: $48.03 – $57.40 Hourly

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  

Required:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the United States Council on Social Work.
• Must be ACSW or LCSW registered with the California State BBS (exception for recent graduates whose applications with BBS are in process).
• Excellent skills in interpersonal communication and documentation.
• Clinical knowledge of individual, family social, & cultural issues in mental illness. 
• Knowledge of laws and procedures related to child and elder/dependent adult abuse, knowledge of laws pertaining to Tarasoff Reporting.
• Experience facilitating evidence-based groups.
• Knowledge of levels of care and community resources available for persons with mental illness.
