The Clinical Research Assistant will provide assistance in support of clinical research studies for dementia patients in the older adult population group within the Stress, Behavioral Immunology and Health Disparities Lab.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research visits on study participants.

  • Assists with the implementation and coordination of studies.

  • Participates in the recruitment of study participants.

  • Conducts interviews and administers questionnaires.

  • Performs behavioral and diagnostic testing.

  • Assists with the collection maintenance and reporting of clinical research data.

  • Responsible for patient scheduling and follow up as needed.

Minimum Education and Skills/Experience Required/Desired

  • Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, psychology or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience.

  • Experience in phlebotomy desired.

  • Experience in research capacity desired.

  • Experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired

  • Computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.
