Adjunct Job Announcement

Position: Clinical Nursing Adjunct Instructor (Medical/Surgical Focus)

Location: Walton Campus

Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety

Reports to: Program Chair for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program and Divisional Academic Dean

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will provide competent and comprehensive instruction in the area of Medical/Surgical Nursing curriculum to accomplish the nursing education unit purposes and strengthen its educational effectiveness.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
  • Relevant and recent clinical practice experience in the field of Medical/Surgical Nursing.
  • Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Nursing education.
  • Clinical and teaching experience.
