  • JOB DUTIES

Description

Under the direction of the Clinical Content Manager, the Clinical Content Analyst (CC Analyst) works directly with ISS Physician Informaticists, CareConnect Build teams and UCLA Health System physicians and staff to design physician content for the ease of use in the electronic health record.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance, configuration, optimization and implementation of clinical content in the Epic EHR system.
  • Clinical content processes include ad-hoc requests and regularly scheduled engagements with each clinical specialty.

This is a flex-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite as required by operational need; there are no reimbursements for travel to “home office” location.  Each employee must complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination.


Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $95,900 – $222,100 annually. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between the minimum and midpoint. 

  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications


  • B.S degree (preferred) or higher and 3 plus years of relevant healthcare experience (nursing preferred).
  • Experience with UCLA CareConnect and knowledge of current workflow and healthcare policies within UCLA Health would be an added benefit for this position
  • Knowledge of current issues in healthcare and issues regarding quality measures for both physician and nursing providers.
  • Effective leadership skills and strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to convey technical information to all levels of application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner.
  • Ability to remain calm in difficult and stressful situations. Must be able to recognize problems, evaluate, and refer to the appropriate channels for action.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train, support, and work collaboratively with business owners, team members, and management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio), email, intranet, internet, and other systems.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree (MHA, MPH, MBA, or MS in Computer Science) or clinical license (MD, RN, NP, etc.)
  • 5+ years advanced experience in the health industry
  • Experience working with various stakeholders in an academic health institution
  • Preferred current active Epic Certification or the ability to obtain any deficient certification and badge within first year of role assignment or hire date.
