Job Description:

The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Florida is inviting applications for two clinical track faculty positions at the rank of assistant or associate professor of small animal internal medicine.  The successful candidate would be part of an internal medicine service with a total of seven faculty (3 tenure track, 4 clinical track), which serves a central role in student education, clinical service and scientific discovery.  Caseload at the University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals is among the highest of any university hospital in the country and provides excellent support for the teaching and clinical research mission of the college. The service works within a large and beautiful hospital equipped with state-of-the-art technology for diagnostic and interventional techniques. The service is also staffed with seven internal medicine residents, four service technicians, and two service coordinators.   

The research, teaching, and clinical assignments of the position will vary depending upon the experience, qualifications, and preference of the candidate.

Expected Salary:

Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience of the successful candidate.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must have a DVM (or equivalent) degree and must have completed a residency in small animal internal medicine approved by the ACVIM or ECVIM.
