DESCRIPTION

The University of New England College of Dental Medicine (UNE CDM) invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month clinical track faculty appointment in Endodontics at the Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Clinical Professor rank, dependent upon experience and credentials.
Located on UNE’s Portland Campus for the Health Sciences, UNE CDM is the only dental school in a region where access to quality oral healthcare is a persistent challenge, especially in rural areas. Responsibilities
The Endodontics faculty member will serve in the Department of Diagnostic, Surgical, and Integrated Sciences. Core responsibilities will include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction and curriculum development; mentoring pre-doctoral students; and participation in college, university, and community service.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent. By the position start date, the candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited graduate program in Endodontics; must be Board Certified, or eligible for Board Certification, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics; and must have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full/faculty).
