Posting Summary
Maintain clinic flow by providing nursing/medical support and associated care to patients of the CHWB Student Health Services. Prepare patients for clinician visits: bring patient to exam room, collect and record nursing level medical history/vital signs/medications and allergies/other relevant information. Provide respectful and confidential health care to all patients, valuing differences in race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, and disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
High School Diploma and two years of medical office experience required. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusiveness required.
Desirable Qualifications
Current State of Vermont LNA license or Certification as a Medical Assistant from a qualified program desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range
Other Information
Posting will be internal to UVM employees.  Anticipated pay range is $23 to $28/hour. Actual hiring pay dependent on comparable campus peer(s) at time of hire, and candidate’s experience level and length.
Special Conditions A probationary period may be required, Bargaining unit position, Background Check required for this position

Union Position Yes, UVMSU ($20 minimum hourly rate)
