Job Summary

Seeking an undergraduate student for part-time clerical work in the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program (WGSS) office. This position is 10 hours/week.

Depending on the annual needs of the program the duties of the Undergraduate Assistant include:
- Maintain social media accounts for WGSS Program
- Update WGSS promotional materials and bulletin boards.
- Assist and attend WGSS events when necessary(photography, staffing tables, program promotion at events)
- Assist in the planning of WGSS outreach and fundraising events.
- Act as a liaison to student RSOs and assist in planning and advertising events as needed.
- Outreach to classrooms for WGSS program.
- Maintain current course offerings list.
- Write short articles for ISU News and social media.
- Draft and update weekly bulletin of events.
- Maintain organization of WGSS Resource Center and Library.


Pay Rate

$14.00/hour


Preferred Qualifications

Social media skills, familiarity with design software to make promotional flyers, good writing and public speaking skills. Candidates should have some familiarity with the WGSS Program and our mission and role on campus.
