Job Summary/Basic Functions

CIEGE Program Associate
The Program Associate works under the direction of CIEGE professional staff. This role has different avenues in which an associate can utilize their talents. This may include peer to peer support such as mentoring, civic education, global education, or front office support. This role requires a great deal of responsibility and maturity, in addition to having excellent communication and technical skills. This role is also responsible for assisting with front desk support, helping students with questions about programs, services, and use of the facility. The role may also include use of social media, coordinating with student and community groups, light housekeeping duties of the Center, special projects, supporting or executing events and programs as assigned. CIEGE is committed to building a welcoming environment for EKU.

Education: Must be enrolled at EKU.

Job Duties:

Center for Inclusive Excellence and Global Engagement (CIEGE) Job Duties:

  • Assist CIEGE professional team to develop programs
  • Support CIEGE programs and events such as: customer service support, program and event check-ins, and assist visitors/participants
  • Must be able to be at the Center and/or campus to support programs/events
  • Assist with developing pre/post evaluations
  • Reviews, and segregates check-in/attendance data for program/event via SLATE, and ENGAGE.
  • Post events on social media platforms, ENGAGE, and Communication Today outlets,
  • Check ENGAGE for registration numbers
  • Create social media content via CANVA or other relevant social media to post for CIEGE events/programs as appropriate
  • Capture videos, photos, and develop reels for IG and other social media content
    Maintains program bin, and storage area
  • Attend monthly team meeting
  • Other duties as assigned
