Summary of Job Duties:

• Communicate and coordinate with CAFF audiences and community partners on a variety of needs and opportunities related to organic agriculture.
• Work with project partners, community organizations, farmers, businesses, others to facilitate reaching program goals
• Create a video series focused on organic production and certification topics.
• Provide creative input and implementation of CAFF outreach and technical assistance on organic crop production.
• Contribute to a strong CAFF team through collaboration, communication and creativity to meet project goals.
• Other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification. A bachelor's degree in agriculture, horticulture, ag business or related field is required.

Preferred Qualification. A master's degree in agriculture, horticulture, ag business or related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with project management, working with diverse partners and audiences.
  • Knowledge of USDA Organic Certification program requirements, processes,
  • Two years of experience in managing organic crop production.
  • Experience in videography.
  • Experience in creating social media content.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Google suite, Adobe Creative Cloud including Premier Pro.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to make presentations in front of diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently as well as be an integral part of a team.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technology problems.

$60,000-66,000
