Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Case Manager in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Develop and maintain liaison relationships with the community and campus partners to enhance referrals, contribute to the wellness of the campus community, and facilitate transitions to higher or lower levels of care based on student’s needs.
· Collaborate with CAPS clinicians in providing continuity of care and document following up with students following an after-hours and/or drop-in crisis to ensure smooth transition from crisis intervention to case management.
· Provides initial triage consultations to determine needed level of care and facilitate appropriate advocacy and case management services to those experiencing individual crisis or other life events that impact mental health and well-being requiring coordination of care.
· Assist in the formulation and presentation of community outreach programs and workshops to educate students, staff and faculty about mental health/psychological issues and wellness.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology, social work, clinical psychology, counselor education or a related field is required. Professional experience in human services or social services programs is also required. A master’s degree in counseling psychology, social work, clinical psychology, counselor education or a related field is preferred.

Part-time temporary position (TP0513/ NS01224P). Normal work days will vary, 20 hours per week. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology, social work, clinical psychology, counselor education or related field is required. Professional experience in human services or social services programs.
Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s degree in counseling psychology, social work, clinical psychology, counselor education or related field is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and community partners that support student mental wellbeing. Public presentations and community outreach methods.
