The University of Maryland seeks a radiologist for a junior faculty position in the Section of Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. The section covers all aspects of chest and cardiac imaging, including radiography, CT, and MRI. The department has state-of-the-art MRI and CT including 1.5T and 3T MR scanners, multiple 384- slice dual source/dual energy & 256 slice CTs as well as CT FFR capability and several cardiothoracic AI applications.

 

The University Medical Center has 800 beds, and Radiology services are also provided for the adjacent Baltimore VA Medical Center and remotely for several off-campus imaging facilities. The University offers very competitive salary and benefits, time for academic pursuits, and funding for continuing medical education. Appointments will be made at an academic level appropriate for the candidate’s experience. Applicants must be ABR certified, meet the requirements for Maryland licensure and should have both fellowship training and research experience in Cardiothoracic imaging.
