Position Summary

UNM Food, LoboCard Office, and University Club is seeking detail-oriented and self-motivated students to serve as Campus Business Services Interns. Interns will assist with a variety of general office and business functions for all three of these departments. Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Fielding phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
  • Communicating feedback and service issues to vendors and contractors.
  • Assisting with calendars and scheduling meetings for senior leadership.
  • Creating reports in Excel.
  • Monitoring functionality of vending services across campus.
  • Facilitating vending refunds
  • Delivering customer service to faculty, staff, and students for meal plans, issuing LoboCards, and event coordination.
  • Event planning, marketing, and execution.
  • Assisting with marketing projects and audits for UNM Food
  • Website editing
  • Collecting customer feedback and preparing summary reports.
  • Assisting with various special projects.

Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to schedule meetings.
  • Ability to use Excel to create various reports.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Customer service experience.
