Business Intelligence Analyst

This position, part of the CFO’s Office, will support a variety of the office’s data needs. The incumbent will identify opportunities to increase the usability of financial data, create business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports, and perform complex data analysis. 

Essential functions of the job include:

• Supporting the finance data domain point of contact for data lineage, definitions, and metadata enhancements.
• Conduct data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.
• Developing compliance, reconciliation, or other dashboards in collaboration with subject matter experts, including identifying best practices and corrective action, action thresholds, and relevant metrics.

$52,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually; commensurate with education and experience

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience with cloud service platform and data warehouses
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R
• Basic understanding of financial concepts and terminology
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate technical information too non-technical staff
