Job Summary: |
The Business and Administrative Professional provides professional and operational support to the newly established Center for Health Equity. The mission of this community-engaged Center is to advance community health, wealth, and well-being by dismantling racism, oppression, and other systemic drivers of inequity to create equitable opportunities through learning, service, research, and advocacy. This position will oversee the functionality of daily administrative and business tasks for the Center and requires considerable organization, focus, analytical, and technical skills. Responsible for assisting with the reporting and budgeting for all programs, projects, and events and troubleshooting complications as they arise. In addition, this position requires a working knowledge of all current University policies that are relevant to business services which may include, but not be limited to procurement, human resources, budget, events, and travel. This position may provide supervision to student workers. This position will provide administrative support to the Executive Director and assist in the development and implementation of the center’s mission and goals. The position possesses project management skills, effective analytical and problem-solving skills; works well under pressure and ability to handle complex and concurrent tasks. Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. |

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range for this position has been established as $49,974 - $55,000. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is eligible for overtime compensation. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
