Job Summary
 

Ensure correct classification of University building space and subsequent updated recording of building space utilization. Maintain accurate records of space inventory to assist with University best utilization of space and growth plans.


Responsibilities
 
  • Perform actual on-site measurements of all renovated or new space to confirm space inventories  
  • Survey use of classrooms and class laboratories for space analysis of Academic departments  
  • Perform annual review of campus building inventory for recording building space use and classification  
  • Assemble campus inventory data for space utilization analysis and update Banner Facilities Inventory System module with the most recent space use  
  • Provide oversight and tracking of Facilities Space Request forms, routing, and meeting preparation  
  • Assist with and update building floor plans  
  • Assist with preparation and submit other annual space reports as requested/required  
  • Answer tech tickets and assist in managing the Eagle Space Reservation System (ERES) and Ad Astra  
  • Assist with legal and real estate transactions  
  • Assist with preparation of Facilities Inventory Data Collection (FIDC) annual report for review

Required Qualifications
 

Educational Requirements

  • Associate's degree

Required Experience

  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
 

$19.33 - $21.75 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

ABILITIES

  • Consistently exhibit engaging customer service
  • Ability to support various constituencies served by the University
  • Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position
  • Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task and coordinate multiple major projects simultaneously

KNOWLEDGE

  • Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local compliance codes 
  • Knowledge of Board of Regents policies and procedures related to space allocation
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and laws related to ADA

SKILLS

  • Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in accurate inventory and space utilization 
  • Proficiency with computer aided design software including but not limited to CAD, Revit, Sketch Up and Photo Shop
