Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
 

Position purpose: 
The Budget Manager for the Creative Arts Collective for Christian Life and Faith will manage, process and maintain all records, payments, and reporting for the budget of the Collective. This includes the daily budgets of the Collective team as well as coordinating and tracking the awarding and financial records for subgrantees.  

Essential Functions: 

  • Oversee and manage the full grant budget including operational budgets and sub-granting processes
  • Develop and monitor internal financial practices as it related to the overall grant
  • Manage AR, AP, and financial reporting for the grant
  • Work closely with University Accounting department to process payments and deposit in Banner (internal fund transfers, checks, credit cards).
  • Become proficient in software programs including QuickBooks, Banner (University accounting), EMS (event management), Jaeggar (purchasing system), Jotform (credit card payments)
  • Manage payroll processing as needed
  • Other divisional duties within the realm of finance, accounting, budgeting, team leadership, reporting and the like, as assigned
  • Working closely with the Associate Director of Grant Operations to develop, maintain and execute processes for sub-granting, including robust record keeping and tracking of awarded funds

    • Focused and able to mulit-task working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations.
    • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
       
    Required Education Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business admin, or related field.
      
    Required Experience 3-5 years in finance or business or management experience
      
    Working Conditions & Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
