Position SummaryThe Psychology Department is looking for a well-organized student employee (work study) to work as an Attendant in our AV/Copy room and Main office, for the remainder of Spring 2024, Summer 2024, and/or Fall 2024 semesters.  This position is responsible for processing and organizing copy/print/scan jobs; issue and receive department AV equipment for checkout; assist and troubleshoot common AV equipment issues in Logan Hall classrooms and labs, and maintaining copy job and equipment records. 
This position will also help with front desk coverage in our Main office.  These duties include meeting and greeting visitors to our department, managing the phone, mail distribution, and other duties as assigned. 
Other duties include (but not limited to) maintaining department email, data entry & record keeping, running errands around campus, assisting with department equipment storage and inventory, and classroom maintenance and cleaning;

Preferred Qualifications Minimum:      
Applicants must have completed Intro to Psychology course (PSYC 1110).    
Must be work-study qualified with a work-study award.
Must be a student in good academic standing; enrolled in a degree-seeking program and registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours (Non-Degree students are not eligible for student employment)
Experience with Microsoft 365 software: Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook for email and calendar functions as well as Adobe software (a plus)
Must have working knowledge with AV equipment (LCD projectors and connecting a laptop to department equipment) and AV connectors (dongles and adaptors).
Some experience with office procedures/Customer Service (meeting & greeting visitors, phones, fax…), and ability to research online information promptly and accurately a plus.
The ability to run errands around campus as needed.
Must be able to multitask and complete projects in a timely manner.
Basic communications skills, analytic skills, and computer skills are required.
Must maintain professional attitude and appearance.
Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented;
Must be able to work in a busy environment and with a diverse group of people.
