Job Summary | Auburn University Athletics is excited to begin the search for an Athletic Trainer (Track & Field) to join the team! The individual in this position provides preventative and rehabilitative health care for student athletes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: care, prevention, rehabilitation, and counseling of student-athletes; assists in other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine; assists the Director in coordination and supervision of the sports medicine program at the university athletic department. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications | Degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science (with an emphasis in athletic training), or related which leads to athletic training certification Level I Bachelor’s degree Level II Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience in preventing, assessing and treating athletic injuries. Level III Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience in preventing, assessing and treating athletic injuries. Substitutions allowed for Experience: Graduate degrees accepted in lieu of experience for advanced levels, at a rate of one year relevant education per year of required experience. Certification or Licensure Requirements: Must be certified by the National Trainers’ Association Board and eligible to be licensed in the State of Alabama by the Alabama Board of Athletic Training |
