Mostly days Monday-Friday, sometimes to include weekends depending on athletic schedules for schools covered.
Job Summary
The Certified Athletic Trainer Assistant will perform related job duties to assigned team/s as a valuable member of the Morehead State University Sports Medicine Department. Primarily responsible for coverage of all Baseball activities as well as assisting Senior AT with coverage of Fall Football activities. The job duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing primary injury assessment and rehabilitation to participants at Morehead State University.
  • Athletic training game and practice coverage at assigned schools.
  • Close communication with physicians, coaches, parents and other medical professionals.
  • Must submit a case study every year to the NATA.
