Description: Fellows: Center for the Physics of Biological Function The Center for the Physics of Biological Function (CPBF), a joint effort between Princeton University and The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, is searching for Center Fellows, both theorists and experimentalists. Fellows will join our highly interactive group, with interests ranging from the dynamics of single molecules to neural computation, and from biochemical and genetic networks to collective behavior and evolution in populations. These diverse efforts are unified by the search for common physical principles underlying the emergence of functional behaviors that are essential for life. Fellows should be prepared to take advantage of the full collaborative research and mentoring opportunities at the Center, and must have completed their PhDs in a relevant field before starting the position. Appointment will be at Associate Research Scholar rank, for a term of three years; salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Appointments will be through the Department of Physics. We expect new Fellows to join us for the Fall semester of 2025; start dates as early as February 2025 are possible.
