The Associate Head Coach for Women’s Basketball is critically involved in all aspects of the women’s basketball program, is given specific autonomy, and shares responsibilities with the Head Coach in key areas of the program including coordinating the identification, evaluation, and ongoing recruitment process for prospective student-athletes; team and player development and training; budget management; scheduling and team travel; practice and game coaching by providing real-time in-game assessment and strategic adjustments; mentoring assistant coaches and student managers; and acting as a liaison with various departmental and campus units, such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Compliance, Strength & Conditioning, Sports Medicine, and Student-Athlete Academic Support. Additional duties include regularly engaging with, and actively fostering relationships with, alumni, fans and friends of the program to support fundraising efforts and build attendance, spirit and financial support for the program. The Associate Head Coach represents the Head Coach at selected events when schedules conflict.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant basketball coaching experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience contributing to a positive student-athlete experience with a commitment to the health and safety of student-athletes and staff.
- Proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting and developing student-athletes.
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of successful coaching experience at an NCAA Division I institution
- Knowledgeable of NCAA rules and Ivy League rules and regulations, and a strong commitment to rules compliance.
