Responsibilities:
 

Position purpose: 
The Associate Director of Grants and Operations of the Creative Arts Collective for Christian Life and Faith will oversee daily operations and processes for the project including competitive procurement, grantee compliance, deliverables, and reporting, project budget management, and hiring. This position will participate on the leadership team and will supervise the Budget Coordinator and the RFP/Grant Coordinator. This position will collaborate and lead in researching, managing, and maintaining all grants associated with the Collective. This role will also oversee the ongoing operations and finances and internal programs. With the highest priority of the Creative Collective being re-granting, the Associate Director of Grants and Operations will play a crucial role for the team and the mission of the Collective as a whole. This position collaborates frequently with university Advancement, Development and Office of Sponsored Programs to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient processing of all grant information. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Lead the grant operations teams in facilitating the sub-granting processes and managing the overall operations of the grant as it relates to grant guidelines and contracts
  • Oversees and supports the RFP Review and Advisory Board including all aspects of implementing the process
  • Manage, supervise, and collaborate with the Budget Manager and the RFP/Coordinator to create and implement standard operating practices
  • Oversees budget planning, coordinates submissions, and ensures proposal adherence with ethical and legal guidelines
  • Works with the Director and Administrator, and Budget Manager to manage budgets and ensures grant documentation and reports are responsibly submitted including facilitating the acceptance of external funds and the proper deposits into budgets, in collaboration with the Finance and Administration and the Office of Sponsored Programs
  • Develop, implement, and assess Collective programs & initiatives ensuring the objectives, activities, and strategies are executed with excellence ensuring that grants are conducted with efficiency, good stewardship, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Facilitates training and education to other members of the grants team

    Required Education Bachelors required. Masters preferred.
      
    Required Experience 3-5 years' experience in grant or procurement work; Experience in supporting larger procurement teams or experience working within academia, university-based research and writing.
