Location
 

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.


Job Summary
 

Directly supports the service and economic development missions of Kennesaw State University to the State of Georgia. Primarily provides entrepreneurial incubation, commercialization, and acceleration services to HatchBridge Incubator member companies and KSU commercialization projects. Provides leadership to HatchBridge Incubator programs including innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization while serving on-campus community and entrepreneurs that are unaffiliated with KSU.


Responsibilities
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with the Director of Incubation and Commercialization to provide leadership for the HatchBridge incubator
2. Develop and operate startup support including mentoring and programming
3. Develop and operate systems and structures to support the operations of HatchBridge in providing consistent high-quality support to startups
4. Manage all space associated with HatchBridge
5. Function in a highly collaborative and inclusive fashion
6. Work with university and community leadership to ensure HatchBridge is meeting the evolving needs of its community
7. Design and manage Entrepreneur in residence program including ongoing management of Entrepreneurs in Residence and their assigned projects
8. Manage HatchBridge mentors and mentorship programs
9. Provide mentorship to entrepreneurs within HatchBridge Programs
10. Assist Director of Incubation and Commercialization with community engagement activities including HatchBridge network growth and collaborate to design programs to meet the needs of community partners


Required Qualifications
 

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted drivers' license
Required Experience
Six (6) years of related experience in early-stage startups, incubators, accelerators, or university-related entrepreneurship programs


Preferred Qualifications
 

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience as the founder of an early-stage startup
Ten (10) years of related experience in early-stage startups, incubators, accelerators, or university-related entrepreneurship programs.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field


Proposed Salary
 

The budgeted salary range is $99,300 to $110,000.  Offers are based on relevant experience.
