The Office of the Vice President seeks an Associate Director for Employee Relations. This position oversees and manages all human resource activities for the 9 departments and approximately 250 permanent employees of the Enrollment and Student Administration unit. This includes talent acquisition/recruitment, compensation, onboarding/training, organizational planning, performance evaluation & management, employee relations/discipline, labor relations, and compliance with established and emerging practices, policies, and procedures. The position guides all ENSA Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) committees, enhances onboarding/orientation and training opportunities for supervisors and employees, and manages the annual performance evaluation processes for all exempt and non-exempt staff. This job is responsible for proposing and implementing ENSA HR policies and procedures, fostering a supportive, equitable, and productive work environment for all ENSA employees, serving as ENSA’s Deputy Title IX Coordinator, and providing employee accommodations supported by the Office of Equal Opportunity.

The Associate Director works with supervisors within the unit, senior Enrollment and Student Administration leaders, and central HR. This position reports to the Director for Finance and Administration.

The Associate Director’s primary responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a resource for all ENSA managers and employees on HR and ENSA policies and procedures;
  • Rewriting and analyzing job descriptions and salaries for equity;
  • Overseeing EDI committees;
  • Training supervisors and department heads on HR procedures;
  • Creating and distributing new onboarding procedures;
  • Creating and maintaining the new HR dashboard;
  • Managing all SAP actions and;
  • Overseeing the performance management process.

A bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience or a Master’s with 5-8 years of experience is required.We are seeking a candidate who:
