Posting Summary
Provide administrative support and coordination for the Executive Director in the Center for Health & Wellbeing. Support the mission, philosophies, and priorities of the Center for Health & Wellbeing, DOSA and UVM, including the promotion of an inclusive, engaged, and health promoting culture of care for all students and employees (staff and faculty), including all races, ethnicities, religions, national origins, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and ages. Conduct and compile information; draft communications; plan and implement events; manage the Executive Director’s calendar; screen and prioritize inquiries and requests; coordinate logistics and travel arrangements; prepare materials for, and perform notetaking at meetings; provide project support for divisional and institutional initiatives that involve the Center for Health &Wellbeing; collaborate with the CHWB Leadership Team on strategic initiatives and assessment of department-wide projects; and provide general administrative support. As a primary point of contact within CHWB on behalf of the Executive Director, exhibit sensitivity, professionalism, and confidentiality when responding to email, telephone, chat, and in-person inquiries from all stakeholders (students, families, academic and administrative collaborators, and external entities), and provide detailed information and referrals across a wide range of topics. Design and coordinate processes that aid in effective department operations. Reports to the Executive Director and works closely with members of the Center for Health & Wellbeing leadership team and other members in the Center for Health & Wellbeing. Help coordinate CHWB admin team on best practices and collaborate with DOSA admin team.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience) and two years’ relevant professional experience.
Resourcefulness, sensitivity, flexibility, and attention to detail. Effective administrative and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Must possess multicultural humility and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and a demonstrated ability to learn new applications (e.g. Drupal, Adobe Acrobat, Slate).
Desirable Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Experience as an Executive Assistant or Assistant to a Director. Public health and/or health care experience a plus. Higher education experience a plus.

Payband Max (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE)) 28.63
Payband Min (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE)) 16.84
Staff Hiring Band Hiring salary budgeted at mid to high end of pay band
Union Position Yes, UVMSU ($20 minimum hourly rate)
