Job Summary:
  Assists the director with operational management and administrative activities in the School of Computing Sciences and Computer Engineering.

 Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 Supports and serves the Director of the School through representation on University committees and/or community outreach projects

Assists with communications, planning, and activity scheduling with the School’s Advisory Council.

Assists with developing, obtaining, and disseminating Helio data and metrics and preparing reports.

Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the University to ensure efficient operation of the School.

Leads recruitment and retention projects, scheduling faculty, staff, and students for activities and tracking progress.

Manages the School’s social media presence including the development and distribution of content.

Facilitates course schedule entry and schedule maintenance working closely with the Director. 8. Ensures book and room assignments for courses are entered each semester.

Travels to recruitment events as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications  
Bachelor’s degree in business or education from an Accredited College or University and 3-4 years of experience in a secondary or post-secondary educational environment.

• Ability to interact professionally using excellent customer service skills with potential students, students, faculty, and staff in a team environment;
• Ability to work with diverse populations;
• Ability to maintain and manage highly sensitive and confidential information and communications with discretion and integrity;
• Strong project management and time management skills, highly detail-oriented and with strong organizational skills;
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Proven execution of standard office administrative practices and procedures with a focus on efficiency and process improvement;
• Demonstrated supervisory and personnel management skills;
  

Preferred Qualifications  
One or more years of experience supervising hourly or salaried employees.
