Job Summary

Drexel University Kline School of Law, in Philadelphia, invites applications for two non-tenure track/teaching faculty positions for the 2024-2025 academic year. 

Essential Functions

Faculty are expected to teach a total of 4 courses over three terms (Fall, Spring, Summer) and participate in service to the Law School and the University. Core courses we are particularly looking to cover include Legal Methods I (predictive legal writing and analysis); Legal Methods II (persuasive legal writing and oral advocacy); Federal Income Tax; Enterprise Tax; and Evidence. Occasional teaching in our Undergraduate program in law is also possible. This position is non-tenure track; time spent in the position will not accrue toward tenure. The contract is initially for two years with the goal of reappointment if mutually satisfactory.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications 

  • JD or S.J.D. or LLM
  • At least two years of legal practice experience. 

 Preferred Qualifications 

  • Candidates with teaching experience are preferred.

Additional Information 

This is a Full-Time Faculty position classified as Exempt. The offered salary is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
