Job Summary
 
Full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track, Assistant Teaching Professor in the Architectural Engineering Technology program within the School of Construction and Design. The expected start date will be August 2024.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Teaching undergraduate courses at 12-credit hours per semester (studio and lecture)
  • Maintain regular office hours
  • Mentor undergraduate students
  • Participate in service opportunities (program, school, college, university and/or community)
  • Attend faculty meetings
  • Provide end of the semester course assessment data
  • Participate in school functions and student professional related organizations
  •   Performs other duties as assigned

  • Minimum Qualifications  
    Terminal degree in Architecture or related fields. Working knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and etc.) A commitment to innovative teaching; student's success; and service to the program. 

     


    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Working knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and etc.)

    Preferred Qualifications  
    Professional licensure, certifications, or awards in areas of teaching. Knowledge of presentation software (Photoshop suite or similar). Willingness or experience delivering online instruction
