Job Summary

Assistant Professor of Practice in Interior Design, non-tenure track, promotable position. 
Full-Time, Start Date: August 12, 2024 


Responsibilities

•    Full-time academic position with a focus on teaching.
•    Deliver instructional content that ranges from introductory to advanced levels for undergraduate and graduate courses within the Interior Design Program.
•    Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the visibility and engagement of the program.
•    Cultivate and strengthen connections with potential students, industry professionals, and relevant organizations.


Qualifications

•    Possess a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Spatial Design
•    Hold an accredited Master’s degree or PhD in hand at the start of the position
 


Program/Department/School

Purdue University boasts a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program, offering a comprehensive four-year BFA undergraduate degree alongside a Master of Fine Arts degree. Our program ardently supports budding designers in their quest to reshape the built environment.
