The Department of Neurology invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of neuropsychology. Post-doctoral scholars and Assistant Professors are encouraged to apply. This top-rated Department is a leader in research and clinical care.

Responsibilities: The new faculty member will have and maintain a strong research portfolio in one or more areas of neuropsychology, including but not limited to cognitive aging and dementia research among older adults. Scholarship in neuropsychology should include  interest and expertise in interventions and clinical trials focused on improving cognition in aging and dementia. Another desired area of expertise is knowledge of, and experience working with, an underserved group of aged individuals: the Portuguese speaking populations.

Applicants must have a strong record—relative to time-since-degree—of peer-reviewed publications, grant funding, demonstrated commitment to postdoctoral, graduate, and undergraduate mentorship, and community engagement. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in psychology, clinical psychology, neuropsychology, or other relevant discipline at the time of appointment. Proficiency in Portuguese would be desirable.

Salary Range $130,000 - $140,000
