The University of North Florida School of Music seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-track, academic-year (nine-month) position in musicology beginning August 2024. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be required to teach six courses per year (three courses per semester) at the undergraduate and graduate level, maintain a record of scholarly productivity that indicates continuing growth and national/international visibility, participate in the intellectual life of the school and university, and provide service to the university and to the field of musicology.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in musicology at the time of their appointment (August 2024) and must provide evidence of (1) successful teaching at the college/university level, and (2) productive scholarly work in the field of musicology.
