Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences (in Medicine) at the Columbia University Medical Center

Columbia University's Department of Medicine invites applications for a non-tenure position at the Assistant Professor level in order to advance divisional research programs including the application of deep learning methods to electronic health record data, simulation modeling for cancer, genomic analysis.

This position will entail experience and expertise in computer language coding in python or another language such as JAVA or C , advanced machine learning/deep learning experience, data analysis, manuscript publication and presentation, research team leadership.

Candidates will have a strong record of research and publications. Candidates will be expected to sustain an active research and publication agenda and teach in the College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Ph.D. or professional doctoral degree. 

All candidates must show promise for future development. Candidates must also have strong publishing and teaching future and some measure of academic/research or teaching independence from mentor.
