The Department of Mathematics in the College of Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Education at The University of Tampa invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in Mathematics beginning August 2024.
 

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially based private institution of 10,500 undergraduate and graduate students. The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa's dynamic central business district, a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area. Qualifications

A qualified candidate must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or closely related fields. Responsibilities include (i) teaching three four-credit (undergraduate) courses offered by the department of mathematics, (ii) maintaining an active research portfolio, and (iii) participating in department/college/university service activities. This is an exciting time of growth at The University of Tampa, and our department. Besides its program in mathematics, the department is expanding in the areas of statistics, actuarial science and data science. The candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching, an interest in working with undergraduate students and enthusiasm about growing our programs are particularly encouraged to apply.
