Description | This position requires teaching a broad range of courses in the department’s programs, including studio, lectures, labs, seminars, and field studies. Faculty are expected to develop and actively pursue a scholarly focus in at least one area, and are encouraged through the Teacher-Scholar model to apply scholarship to enrich the students’ professional education. Duties and Responsibilities: Teach courses in the graduate (MLA, MUD) and undergraduate (BLA) programs’ curricula (e.g., studio, lectures, labs, and seminars). Generate peer-reviewed research, secure grants, and/or engage in built/creative works. Contribute to the professional community through service to the Department, College, University and Profession. Ability to work in multiple teaching modalities (in-person, online, hybrid, field studies) is expected. |
Minimum Qualifications | Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited* institution OR Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited* institution and an advanced degree OR Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited* institution and meet four of the following criteria:
