Assistant Professor of Dermatology (Tenure-track)

Summary

The University of Michigan Department of Dermatology seeks candidates for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor. We invite applications from outstanding investigators with experience in laboratory-based investigative dermatology and expertise in areas pertaining to translational or basic skin cancer biology research. Applicants should have a strong interest in developing an independent, comprehensive program of research to further our understanding of the pathogenesis of melanoma or non-melanoma skin cancer.

The successful applicant will have access to abundant clinical material and translational research opportunities through interaction with outstanding scientists, physicians and others engaged in the multidisciplinary care of skin cancer patients. Duties will also include teaching of students, house officers and fellows in laboratory and didactic settings. This position will support the educational objectives of the graduate, professional, and undergraduate degree programs at the University of MIchigan and our mission to inspire a diverse group of future scientists to be leaders and improve health for all.
