Job Summary
University of Kentucky: Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Extended Campus Program in Paducah, KY.
The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a tenure-eligible, 9-month appointment (Special Title Series) faculty position in chemical engineering at the Assistant Professor level with an anticipated start date of Fall 2024. The position is associated with the University of Kentucky chemical engineering program at the extended campus in Paducah, KY. The College of Engineering administers ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree programs in chemical engineering and mechanical engineering at Paducah, with a total of eight full-time faculty.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering with the capability to teach across the entire chemical engineering undergraduate curriculum. Individuals should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, and the motivation to sustain a program of independent scholarship through innovative educational activities, the direction of undergraduate and graduate research and other independent and collaborative research endeavors. Research collaborations with local industry and faculty on the Lexington campus are encouraged.
