The Department of Government and History at Fayetteville State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Geography to begin in January 2017. The successful candidate will be expected to teach intro courses in physical geography along with teaching and conducting research in remote sensing applications and other emerging geospatial technologies.”

|Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:||
PhD in Geography or a closely related field. Ability and interest in working with an existing Intelligence Studies program and partner with the US Intelligence Community (IC) is desirable. The candidate work with other faculty members of the Geography program to recruit students to Geography major and GEOINT minor at FSU. An ABD with technical capabilities in remote sensing and a confirm date of conferment of the doctorate by August 2017, will be considered.
