Position Description

Assistant Professor, Full time, Tenure Stream – Occupational Therapy

1.       Brief Statement of Duties:

       The person filling this position will teach in the graduate professional (OTD), post-professional (MS, CScD), and research (Ph.D. in Rehabilitation                Science; post-doctoral) educational programs supported by the Department of Occupational Therapy. This person will also maintain and develop a  research program consistent with his/her interests and skills. This person will provide mentoring support for students and collaborate with faculty on research as appropriate.

2.       Minimum objective qualifications; other desirable qualifications:

         This person must: have an earned doctorate in an area relevant to rehabilitation; be licensed (or eligible for license) to practice occupational therapy in Pennsylvania; have a history of funded research; and have classroom teaching experience.

3.       Rank and/or title; salary range or minimum:

          The academic rank will be Assistant Professor. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

4.       Tenure/tenure-stream/non-tenure stream; full/part-time:

          This is a tenure-stream, full-time position.

5.       Proposed starting date:

          7/1/2024
