Position Summary:      

The Department of Graduate Computer Science and Engineering at Yeshiva University's Katz School of Science and Health invites applications for a tenure-track assistant/associate professor in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science for its graduate programs. This is an opportunity to pursue innovative research and development in these areas in a range of applications and to collaborate with faculty across disciplines, including biotech and health, IoT, mathematics, economics, and more.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Pursue innovative research and grants.
  • Collaborate with other researchers across the university in interdisciplinary and applied research.
  • Teach and mentor graduate students.
  • Lead co-curricular activities.
  • Build a thriving STEM graduate school through industry collaborations, community-based initiatives, and university service.

Experience & Educational Background:

  • Ph.D. in computer science, AI, machine learning or related field. ABD candidates graduating before the fall 2024 semester are eligible.
  • Demonstrated expertise in both research and practice.
  • Proven teaching ability.
  • Strong industry network is a plus.

 Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to manage complex projects from start to finish, in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Salary Range:

$65,000-$175,000
