Position Description:

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for a full-time faculty child and adolescent Autism and neurodevelopmental psychiatry position at the assistant professor level.

Join a growing academic psychiatry department/division and a rich group practice in Southeastern Wisconsin with a multi-disciplinary team that includes academic psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other ancillary staff.

Opportunity

  • Academic position that requires a combination of patient care, teaching, research, and administrative activities necessary for the function of the department/division.
  • Provide expert child and adolescent psychiatric care and consultation to patients seen in the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW)
  • Teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students.

Education, training, and experience required

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
  • Interested in pursing a career in academics to include teaching and research
