Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor - Neurobiology and Anatomy, McGovern Medical School

The Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy  at McGovern Medical School  at UTHealth Houston seeks two tenure-track investigators. Candidates in all disciplines of neuroscience applying innovative approaches to understand cellular, synaptic, or circuit function in health, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases are encouraged to apply.

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston is located within the Texas Medical Center and its very rich and collaborative neuroscience community, including The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center,  Baylor College of Medicine , Rice University , and the University of Houston .

Position Key Accountabilities:

The appointed individuals will be expected to develop a strong, independent research program, establish interdisciplinary collaborations, and secure extramural funding. Additionally, they will be expected to contribute to our departmental teaching mission and mentor graduate students, medical students, and postdoctoral fellows.

Qualifications:

Applications at a junior or senior level will be considered, with rank dependent on experience and qualifications.
